On March 24, 2026, the City of St. Helena proudly turns 150 years old! To honor this remarkable milestone, we’re planning a full year of events and festivities that celebrate the charm, history, and spirit of the town we call home.
Each month will feature a unique theme, inviting our community to explore St. Helena's past, celebrate the present, and look forward to the future. From lectures and social gatherings to family-friendly activities, there will be something for everyone to enjoy throughout the year.

Join us for an old-fashioned fundraiser as we raise the roof and raise the funds to sponsor the big block party to take place in September. Tickets will go on sale for this over 21 event in January.

Discover a year filled with lectures, social gatherings, and family fun — each month bringing a new theme to celebrate 150 years of community and connection in our little town!

This is our month to gear up and get everything in place for the big birthday!

This month we will celebrate the First Peoples of the St. Helena area and explore The Native American and indigenous influence before we were St. Helena. Learn about the first human inhabitants of this area; what drew them here and their fate as Europeans, Mexican then U.S. settlers arrived here.

Happy Birthday St. Helena
Tuesday March 24, 2026 at Lyman ParkCelebrate the official date of incorporation as we unveil a special plaque to mark the occasion. Of course, there will be cake!

St. Helena has become a formal municipality! Learn how it evolved to that event in the 22 years following its establishment as a community in 1854 with Henry Still’s purchase of 154 acres from Maria Bale.

An Americana Musical Jubilee!

Step back in time for a joyful concert honoring St. Helena’s 150th anniversary with American music from the 1876 era and beyond! Join the St. Helena Choral Society and fellow Napa Valley musicians for a heartwarming, toe-tapping tribute to bygone times—honoring the way music has always connected neighbors, families, and communities.

This month, we celebrate our diverse agricultural history – from cattle and wheat to grapes to fruits to nuts and our world-famous wine grapes!

America celebrates the 250-year anniversary of signing of The Declaration of Independence, 100 years before St. Helena was born.

As the local wine grape harvest begins, we will review our significant world class wine history and also the Ag Preserve, a first-in-the-nation creation.

St. High High School celebrates Homecoming every fall, and this year, we are making it an even bigger parade with floats, and entries honoring our past, present, and future.
